Our First Step Starts with Jesus!
HAVE QUESTIONS...?
Romans 3:23 - ...for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God...
John 14:6 - Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through Me..."
Being good is admirable, but it doesn’t erase sin. Salvation isn’t earned by works; it’s a free gift from God through faith in Jesus. Only Jesus can forgive sin and restore our relationship with God.
Ephesians 2:8-9 - For by grace you have been saved through faith; and this is not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not a result of works, so that no one may boast.
Yes! God’s grace is greater than any sin. The Bible says, “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us." No matter your past, Jesus offers a fresh start and eternal hope.
1 John 1:9 - If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous, so that He will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
No! Baptism does not save a person from the consequence of sin. The Bible repeatedly teaches that salvation is offered to us by God's grace and applied to us by our faith in Jesus Christ. To add anything to the gospel is to say that Jesus’ death on the cross was not sufficient to purchase our salvation.
While we do not believe that baptism is part of salvation, we do believe that baptism is an act of obedience after salvation. The Bible says that baptism is an outward sign of your faith and new life in Christ It symbolizes your commitment to follow Him and is an important step in your spiritual journey.
Ephesians 2:8-9 - For by grace you have been saved through faith; and this is not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not a result of works, so that no one may boast.
Titus 3:5 - He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we did in righteousness, but in accordance with His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit...
Matthew 28:19-20 - Go, therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to follow all that I commanded you; and behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
